Alaska Wilderness League: Arctic National Wildlife Refuge
The coastal plain of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, one of the most sensitive wilderness lands in the nation, is under threat from oil and mineral development. Home to a vast array of birds, grizzly bears, musk oxen and polar bears, the region also serves as a birthing ground for 120,000 caribou of the Porcupine Herd. The Alaska Wilderness League created this short video as part of its national campaign to protect the Refuge.
