TIVA-DC Honors VideoTakes’ Team with Two Peer Awards!

Washington, DC, November 22, 2008 – Two members of the VideoTakes family were recognized for exceptional work at the 2008 Peer Awards sponsored by TIVA-DC.

Joan Murray, executive producer and director of numerous films produced in partnership with VideoTakes, received a Silver Award for her PSA, “Sinnerman.” Celebrating with Joan at the awards ceremony were Sandy Cannon-Brown, president of VideoTakes and producer of the spot; Wayne Westbrook, director of photography; and David Haselkorn, actor.

The newest addition to the VideoTakes’ team, Matt Nagy, won a Gold Award for an internal communications video he created for the United States Postal Service, his previous employer.

“We were delighted to see Joan and Matt honored at the Peer Awards. It was gratifying to know that other creative professionals in the Washington area respect them and their work as much as we do,” said Chris Palmer, CEO of VideoTakes.
